1. Who We Are

JobNudge ("the Service") is operated by JobNudge. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our platform at jobnudge.tech.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

a) Account Information

  • —Name and email address (via Google OAuth or email sign-up)
  • —Profile picture (if provided via Google OAuth)

b) Resume & Profile Data

  • —Contact information you provide (phone, location, LinkedIn URL)
  • —Professional summary, work experience, skills, and education
  • —Uploaded resume files (PDF) for AI parsing

c) Usage Data

  • —Credits used, resumes generated, jobs saved/favorited
  • —Search queries and filter preferences
  • —Device type, browser type, and general location (country-level)

d) Payment Information

Payment processing is handled entirely by Lemon Squeezy. We do not store credit card numbers, bank account details, or other financial information on our servers. We only receive confirmation of payment status from Lemon Squeezy.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • —To provide and operate the Service (job search, resume generation, account management)
  • —To process your resume data through AI models for tailoring and generation
  • —To manage your subscription and credit usage
  • —To send transactional emails (account verification, password resets, subscription updates)
  • —To improve the Service through aggregated, anonymized usage analytics

4. AI Processing & Third-Party Models

Your resume content is sent to Google Gemini AI for processing when you use the resume generation or tailoring features. This data is used solely to generate your personalized output.

We do not use your personal data to train or fine-tune any AI models. Google's API terms apply to data processed through their services — data sent via the Gemini API is not used by Google to train their models.

Job listings are aggregated from publicly available company career pages and ATS platforms. No personal data is shared with employers through our platform.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely in Supabase (hosted on AWS). We implement the following security measures:

  • —Row-Level Security (RLS) policies ensure users can only access their own data
  • —All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS encryption
  • —Authentication is managed through Supabase Auth with secure session tokens
  • —API keys and credentials are stored as environment variables, never in client-side code

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with the following third-party services, strictly for operating the Service:

  • —Supabase — Database hosting and authentication
  • —Google Gemini — AI resume processing (resume content only, when you initiate generation)
  • —Lemon Squeezy — Payment processing (Lemon Squeezy handles all financial data directly as Merchant of Record)

7. Cookies & Tracking

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. No data is shared with advertising networks.

8. Data Retention

Your account data and resume content are retained for as long as your account is active. Job listings in our database are refreshed every 20 minutes and listings older than 2 days are automatically removed.

If you delete your account, all associated personal data (profile information, resume data, usage history) will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • —Access and download your personal data at any time
  • —Update or correct your profile and resume information
  • —Delete your account and all associated data
  • —Withdraw consent for AI processing (by not using resume generation features)

10. Children's Privacy

JobNudge is not intended for users under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a user is under 16, we will promptly delete their account and data.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
